These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of LearnToSpeakDrum, including our website and related services at https://learntospeakdrum.com.
By accessing or using LearnToSpeakDrum, you agree to these Terms.
1. Service Description
LearnToSpeakDrum provides online drum-practice tools, including (without limitation):
- Practice Hub scheduling and review workflows
- GrooveLab training sessions and progression tracking
- Playground/Rhythm Grid practice tools
- Account, billing, and subscription management features
2. Eligibility and Accounts
You must provide accurate account information and keep your login credentials secure.
You are responsible for activity on your account.
We use email-based and third-party authentication methods (including Google sign-in) through our authentication providers.
3. Authentication and Access
To use protected features, you must authenticate.
We collect your email address for authentication, account access, and service communications.
Access to paid features may depend on an active subscription or payment status.
4. Billing and Payments
Payments and subscriptions are processed through Stripe.
By purchasing a plan, you authorize applicable charges according to the price and billing interval shown at checkout.
We do not store full payment card details on our own servers.
Refunds, if offered, are handled according to the policy shown at purchase or as otherwise required by law.
5. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the service unlawfully
- Attempt to interfere with platform security or availability
- Abuse APIs, automation, or workflows in a way that harms the service or other users
- Reverse engineer or exploit non-public parts of the platform except where legally permitted
6. User Data and Content
You retain rights in content you submit (for example: practice entries, groove configurations, ratings, and notes).
You grant us a limited license to host, process, and display this content solely to operate and improve the service.
Practice/progress data is associated with your account so it can persist between sessions. It is not fully anonymous in account mode.
7. Third-Party Services
Our platform relies on third-party services, including:
- Auth.js / NextAuth (authentication/session handling)
- Google OAuth (optional sign-in)
- Resend (email delivery for sign-in/transactional messages)
- MongoDB (data storage)
- Stripe (billing/subscriptions)
Your use of those third-party services may be subject to their own terms and policies.
8. Availability and Changes
We may update, suspend, or discontinue parts of the service at any time.
We may release new features, modify existing behavior, or deprecate components to maintain or improve the platform.
9. Termination
We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms, misuse the service, or if required for legal/security reasons.
You may stop using the service at any time.
10. Disclaimers
The service is provided "as is" and "as available."
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
